Travelling costs are included for Gauteng. I may ask a travelling fee for weddings in some areas such as North-West, the Free State
and Mpumalanga. The travelling fee will be discussed and agreed upon, depending on where you are getting married. The travelling fee
must be paid together with the deposit of R1 000 in order to secure your booking. I provide my bank details on request to couples
who wish to book me. Please save these details, as I only accept payment into my account. This way you and I have proof of all
payments and of course its great for compiling tax returns!
HOW DO WE SECURE YOUR SERVICES?
Contact me to confirm if I am available for your wedding day. If I am available, a non-refundable deposit of R1 000 is required
to secure your booking. This is on a first come, first served basis, as I reserve dates long in advance. The retainer will be deducted
from your total package price. I will provide my banking details to you personally. No booking will be secured unless the payment has
been received. The full outstanding balance has to be paid when the dvds are collected. Please note that the outstanding balance should
be paid into my bank account before you will receive your photo package. Please pay all fees into the account provided by me. This way
you and I have a way of proof which payments has been made. The outstanding amount needs to be paid before you can collect your DVD's
containing your photos. Please note that I am available as a DJ or photographer, but not both on the same date!
DO YOU TAKE ALL THE PHOTOS WITH DIGITAL CAMERAS OR DO YOU USE FILM AS WELL?
I only take pictures with the digital cameras and do not use film at all. Digital is the way to go! I
can see the photos immediately after taking the picture and digital images can easily be enhanced on
computer! It will also be easier for you to reproduce any photo from the dvd and you can view all the
photos on your dvd player.
DO YOU TAKE HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS?
Yes. All photos are taken in high resolution and saved in this format on your DVD's.
DO YOU TAKE ALL THE PHOTOS ON OUR WEDDING DAY YOURSELF?
Yes. I take all the photos on your wedding day myself.
WHAT IS YOUR STATUS ON OWNERSHIP OF PHOTOS?
You receive all photos taken on you wedding day on dvd. All these photos may be printed at a printing shop
directly from the dvd. I am entitled to use the photos for advertising and promotional purposes if the need arises.
I do not hold any photos back.
HOW DO WE RECEIVE THE PHOTOS AFTER THE WEDDING?
You need to collect the dvd's. If you can not collect it, you can make arrangements for someone to collect it on your behalf.
No dvd's will be posted!
WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP YOU GET THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHS OF US?
Give me time to take decent photographs and allow extra time for the unforeseen.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS DO YOU TAKE AT A WEDDING?
Depending on the time you give me, I usually take between 800 and a 1800 pictures.
WHEN WILL OUR PHOTOS BE READY TO COLLECT AFTER THE WEDDING?
Approximately four weeks after the wedding.
HOW LONG DO YOU STAY AT THE RECEPTION?
I like to cover the entire day and stay until about 21:00 in the evening, unless otherwise agreed.
HOW WILL YOU BE DRESSED ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
I always dress neatly to blend with the atmosphere.
IN WHICH AREAS DO YOU TAKE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS?
Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga and the Free State.
YOU PLACE PICTURES OF EACH WEDDING ON YOUR WEBSITE. WILL THEY BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING?
You bet! The photos are there to serve as examples of my work and for you and your family to download.
Remember that they may only be downloaded for private use. Images are compressed to save disk space and
have a resolution of 1280 x 853 pixels, thus they will look good on your computer screen and will be
suitable for printing as a jumbo size photo. Images on your personal dvd will have a much better
quality for printing.
WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE?
I like to cover the whole event and start with the bride or groom's preparation, then garden photos, the
wedding ceremony, photos between the ceremony and the reception, the reception including speeches, table
photos, cutting of the cake, social and informal photos, etc. Family and group photos are also included.
If you need any other specific photos, just tell me! My shooting style includes a mixture of natural and
traditional style photos, as well as photo journalism.
DO YOU HAVE ANY TIME RESTRICTIONS?
I don't like time restrictions, as they put unnecessary stress on you and me. Therefore am I available for
your wedding day, from where the bride starts with her make-up until about 21:00 that evening. This way
I take photos of every stage and aspect of your wedding. If you would like me to stay longer, please discuss
this with me.
TRAVELLING COSTS:
Travelling costs are included for the Pretoria, Johannesburg and Muldersdrift areas. Fuel costs
will be discussed with you depending on the venue if outside these areas. Outside of Gauteng, my overnight
accommodation has to be booked and paid for in advance.
OTHER INFORMATION:
If photographs are to be taken at the reception, seating must be provided for me as close to the main
table as possible, which will enable me to take better photographs without disturbing guests. Although
it has never happend before, I cannot be held responsible for any damage to or loss of photographic
material due to unforeseen circumstances, such as theft, fire, etc. The pricelist is subject to change,
but not if you have paid your deposit. You are then "locked" on the agreed prices.
